School Supply Drive

As summer approaches, the Flowers Plantation community is once again coming together to support local students through the Annual Summer School Supply Drive, beginning Tuesday, May 26th.

Following the tremendous success of last year’s campaign, organizers are preparing for an even greater impact this year — with the goal of helping even more students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Most Needed School Supply Items

Residents are encouraged to donate new school supplies including:

  • Backpacks
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Composition books
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Pencils & pens
  • Crayons & colored pencils
  • Markers & highlighters
  • Glue sticks
  • Folders & binders
  • Pencil pouches
  • Scissors
  • Dry erase markers
  • Hand sanitizer & tissues

Donation Drop-Off Locations

Community members can donate supplies at the following locations:

  • Fiori Italian Restaurant
  • Inspire Nutrition
  • The Percy Flowers Store Foyer
(between Crossroads Boutique & Gifts and The Grocery Bag at Flowers)
  • Views at Flowers Apartments
  • The Averly at Flowers Apartments
  • Crossroads Cleaners & Tailors
  • Flowers Plantation Visitor Center
    (back porch for easy access)
The drive will continue through the middle of August, culminating during the community’s annual National Night Out celebration, which will serve as the grand finale of the collection effort.
Organizers say the partnership between local residents and businesses continues to make the drive successful year after year, helping ensure students throughout the area begin the school year with the supplies they need to thrive.
