Enjoy more than 35 miles of paved walking trails throughout the community. The trails not only link the neighborhoods, throughout the community, but also the schools, commercial adjacent areas, and the East Triangle YMCA. You can take care of most all your families needs without ever leaving the neighborhood. From Friday night’s dinner plans to your daily exercise routine, this trail system links it all together.


East Neuse River Parkway
The East Neuse River Parkway is a private, 2-mile stretch of walking trail within Flowers connecting neighborhoods throughout the trail. A pedestrian sidewalk that allows for bicycles has been constructed adding 3 more miles of walking trails for a total of over 12 miles.
Since 1857, the YMCA has been part of the fabric of our region. They strengthen the foundation of the communities they serve throughout the Triangle. With 21 locations in seven counties and three overnight camps, the Y offers something for everyone.

East Triangle YMCA
The East Triangle YMCA, located in Clayton, features an outdoor pool with a toddler pool and waterslide, two fitness studios and a second floor dedicated to strength and cardio equipment. The fields are the perfect space for youth sports and summer day camps.
They offer a half-day sports camp and a half-day Kindercamp held at the YMCA. They also offer full-day camps held at neighboring schools.

Coy Flowers Memorial Dog Park
We’re excited to announce the opening of our new dog park. The “Coy Flowers Memorial Dog Park” is located directly beside Petco. It’s an area for residents to be able to bring their dogs and enjoy some playtime while being convenient to shopping for all their companions needs. The dog park is named after Mr. Percy Flowers National multi-award winning Fox Hound Coy.
