Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
We are excited for our Tree Lighting event this year! We have added a few festive fun events including more crafts, a 360 photo booth, Christmas DJ, a Elf Express Hayride, and more time with Santa and Mrs Claus as they walk around the event talking with kids and taking pictures. We encourage families to bring their camera and take photos while their little ones tell Santa or Mrs. Claus what they would like for Christmas!
Christmas Tree Lighting Agenda:
2:00-3:00pm:
Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santas Chair (Parents bring a camera or phone for pictures)
3:00-4:30pm:
-Crafts at the Crafts Table
-360 Photo BoothÂ
-Hayrides around the Parkway (The Elf Express)
-Hot Chocolate Vendor, courtesy of Apple Law on site
-DJ Playing your favorite Christmas Tunes
-Santa and Mrs. Claus will be walking around participating with the kids during this time for pictures and fun activities
4:30pm:
Move to the Circle at NW Flowers Parkway
4:40-5:00pm:
Music by the Students of The Academy of Music and Vocal Arts, located at Flowers Plantation
5:00pm:
Welcome, arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus being led in by the Pipes and Drums Band. Santa and Mrs. Claus will catch a ride to the event with the help of our friends at North Side Fire and RescueÂ
Road Closures:
Beginning at Noon, NW Flowers Parkway will be closed to all traffic. You will be able to access the YMCA from Hwy 42 without issues, but all other traffic to neighborhoods should use East Neuse River Parkway. NW Flowers Parkway will reopen at 6pm for normal traffic.
Parking for the Event:
All vehicles will park in the gravel parking lot off Savannah Ln (Behind Harris Teeter). There will be event signs posted, leading you to the parking area.
Golf Carts may come in from Flowers Village and park between the circle and the 4 way stop on Flowers Village Blvd.
