2025 Holiday Market

• Booths are available for vendors for $20 per a 10’x10′ spot
• The location will be behind the new flag poles in the field at the intersection of Buffalo Rd and Hwy 42
• Times will be 8am-Noon each event
• Items must be grown, or made by the vendor, no reselling of any items will be allowed
• Vendors wishing to participate must reach out the week prior to get a spot

Flowers Plantation Holiday Market Information

1. The event will be held at the intersection of Buffalo Rd and NC Hwy 42 at the Flagpoles
2. The fee for participating in this event will be $20.00 per 10’x10’ Space
3. The Hours of Operation will be 8:00am-12:00pm
4. Vendors must confirm their participation the week prior to ensure a spot

Vendor Qualifications

1. Vendors must be the original producer of the items they are selling. NO RESELLING WILL BE ALLOWED
2. No applicant shall be considered a vendor until approval by Flowers Plantation
3. All applicants must be carry all certifications, licenses and regulatory documents necessary if required to sell items
4. Vendors must be set up, ready to sell at 8:00am to avoid traffic issues

Products That May Be Sold

1. Any vegetable grown by the vendor from seeds, sets, or seedlings
2. Any fruits, nuts or berries grown by the vendor from trees, bushes, vines, on their property
3. Any plant grown by the vendor from seed, seedlings, transplants, or cuttings.
4. Bulbs propagated by the vendor
5. Honey produced by the vendors bees
6. Cut or dried flowers by the vendor
7. Firewood cut by the vendor from their property
8. Preserves, pickles, relishes, jams, and jellies made by the vendor
9. Craft items which have been made by the vendor, no reselling of items
10. Eggs and meat raised by the vendor

*All food and product sold must meet state and local health regulations, as well as the NC Department of Agricultures general guidelines regarding products exhibited for sale at farmers markets.

**All items must be top quality

*** NO ANIMALS WILL BE SOLD OR GIVEN AWAY AT THE MARKET, NOR WILL THEY BE DISPLAYED BY A VENDOR

Space Information, Tents, and Signs

1. One space is a 10’x10’ area
2. Spaces are $20.00 Per Event
3. There is a limit of 2 spaces per vendor
4. Vendors are to provide their own tent
5. Tents must be tied and weighted down during the event
6. Any tables, tents, chairs, weights, trash receptacles, etc… are the responsibility of the vendor. Flowers Plantation will not supply these items
7. Tents are subject to the inspection of Flowers Plantation Staff and must be in a clean, safe working condition
8. Vendors must be in the space, ready to sell by 8am of the Market
9. Cleanup of the area is the responsibility of the vendor. Areas found to have not been clean will be subject to termination of future events
10. The Market closes at 12, vendors are expected to stay until 12 and not have traffic in coming in and out of the vendor area
11. Any food truck on site is required to supply a waste receptacle site for customers to utilize while visiting

Vendor Rules and Expectations

1. Vendors shall refrain from smoking or vaping while in the vendor area
2. Vendors and their guests shall remain within the limits of the Farmers Market
3. Be courteous to other vendors, guests, and customers while on site

Important Parking Information: Vehicles will enter the lot on the South entrance, closer to SW Flowers Parkway.  There will be a banner flag with the logo on it as a point of reference.  Staff will then be on site to assist with parking.  Vendors will be set up closer to the Flag poles for ease of access.
